Josef Van Der Kar’s Jenkyns House in Silverlake

New on the market and sitting above the Silverlake Reservoir, is the Jenkyns House with walls of glass designed by Josef Van Der Kar (AIA) in 1960. The latest issue of Modernism magazine features a fascinating piece on this Van Der Kar, including the fact that he was as well-known for his political activism as his architecture.
